We would be pleased if you could send your request in German or write it bilingually (de/en) so that we can answer your request as quickly and effectively as possible. Please do not send multiple e-mail requests and queries. The initial response may take up to 2 weeks.

Please note that the time needed to process all applications will be extended until further notice due to current circumstances. We ask for your understanding.

Phone consultation::
=> changed telephone consultation hours up to and including 15.07.2025!
     These will take place from 12:15 to 13:15 and only on the following days: 27.05. , 10.06. , 24.06. , 08.07.
Personal consultation hours:
=> The consultation hour on Thursday, 10.07.2025, unfortunately has to be canceled.
=> During the lecture-free period, consultation hours will take place on the following days (10-12 a.m.):

Appointments for consultation hours:

From 09.01.2025, appointments/waiting numbers will only be allocated on the spot.

If possible, please come to the waiting room (1.0104) at the beginning of the consultation hour to obtain an waiting number for the current consultation hour at the terminals there.

Please note that only a limited number of appointments are available for each consultation.

After calling your number, please go to the indicated seat/room - otherwise your number will expire after 2 minutes.


Important note:
Please bring an official identification document (ID card, passport or driver's license) to every consultation so that we can give you personal or study-related information or hand out documents. The Campus Card or health insurance card is not an official identification document and therefore not valid for identification purposes.

A certain processing time must be taken into account for all procedures. For Bachelor's and Master's thesis openings, credits, and the preparation of final documents, allow approximately 4-6 weeks for processing.


Instructions for the deadline to request a certificate of achievement for the master's application:

Master od Education by July 15.

Subjects with no admission restrictions by July 15.

Subjects with restricted admission by April 30.

Subjects outside the FU Berlin up to four weeks before the application deadline.

For applications received later, timely processing cannot be guaranteed.

Bachelor's Degree Programs

Registration of the Bachelor Thesis

When registering for the bachelor thesis and, if applicable, oral examination, please bring the completed and signed application form, including the documents listed on the form.


Application for Graduation

Please note that in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, the application for graduation must be submitted to the Examination Office within four weeks after the last examination has been taken. It is not necessary to wait for the complete documentation of grades by the lecturers in Campus Management.

Master's Degree Programs
