Degrees in History
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History with or without the Educators’ Training (90 credits)
History as Minor (60 credits) with the Educators’ Training option
History as Minor (60 credits or 30 credits) without the Educators’ Training option (focus on one of the four different subject areas)
This is a Master of Arts in History (120 credits) with an emphasis on research in one of the following: Ancient History, Medieval History, Early Modern History, or History of the 19th and 20th centuries.
This is an application-oriented Master of Arts (120 credits).
This is a Master of Arts (120 credits) with an emphasis on research and is a joint degree with the Humboldt Universität in Berlin. Courses are in English and in German.
This is a “Großer Lehramtsmaster" or certification to teach secondary-school level history, with 120 credits in the major and 60 credits in the minor. “Kleiner Lehramtsmaster” for school teachers with 60 credits in either the Major or the minor subject.
