Forum Ostasiatische Kunstgeschichte im deutschsprachigen Raum

Das „Forum Ostasiatische Kunstgeschichte“ ist eine Initiative von akademischen Nachwuchskräften an deutschsprachigen Universitäten. Es soll dem wissenschaftlichen Austausch all jener dienen, die als DoktorandInnen, PostdoktorandInnen oder VertreterInnen des akademischen Mittelbaus ihren Forschungsschwerpunkt auf der Kunstgeschichte Ostasiens (China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan) oder einem verwandten Gebiet haben und im deutschsprachigen Raum tätig sind. Das Forum will damit der Ostasiatischen Kunstgeschichte, die als akademische Disziplin institutionell zwischen einer europäisch-amerikanisch geprägten Kunstgeschichte und den einzelnen Ostasienwissenschaften angesiedelt ist, eine eigene Plattform geben, um die Vernetzung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses innerhalb des Faches zu stärken. In der zweitägigen Tagung werden persönliche Forschungsprojekte in Vorträgen vorgestellt und daran anknüpfend methodische und institutionelle Perspektiven des Fachs diskutiert.
