The Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut (FMI) at Freie Universität Berlin is home to a wide range of research projects and academic initiatives in the field of global history (including the M.A. Program in Global History, run jointly with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, as well as the Graduate School “Global Intellectual History”).

Responsibilities:

Assistance with tasks related to Prof. Dr. Michael Goebel’s Einstein Profile Professorship in Global History

Assistance with the preparation and planning of lectures
-
Assistance with research (literature, sources, bibliographies)
-
Independent research (literature and sources)
Desirable:
-
Enrollment in degree course/study of history
-
Familiarity with topics and approaches of global history and economic history
-
Excellent written and spoken English language skills (C1 level)
-
German language skills at A2 level
-
Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
