Soheb Niazi has been awarded the D N Ghosh Prize for the Best Papers in Economic & Political Weekly (EPW) for 2024. He earned the prize for his article “Towards a History of Non-ashrāf Muslims: Notes on the Muslim Occupational Castes in Late Colonial India.”
