We would like to point out that the course "Wine in Classical Islam" (Wednesdays 10 to 12 o'clock in room 2.2058) is also part of the module "Arabic Literature - Specialization" in the master's programme Arabic Studies. 

Texts from different genres are read in the course, such as legal texts (al-Sarakhsi), poetry (Abu Nuwas), medical texts (al-Razi), adab (al-Jahiz), kalam (al-Juwayni), etc.

The course is an excellent way to familiarise yourself with classical Arabic literature.

The language of instruction is English.
