As part of the programme SUPPORT for Teaching, the first two grants for innovative teaching projects were successfully completed and each supported with a grant of 1000, - Euro.

• "Thousand and One Nights"

With this teaching project, a seminar in cooperation between the Department of History and Cultural Studies, Institute of Arabic Studies, Victoria Mummelthei, and the Department of Philosophy and Humanities, Institute for Comparative Literature, Dr. Kathrin Wittler was sponsored. The different approaches of the two scholarly traditions reinforced a global perspective.
