Dr Kahee Jo is a postdoc researcher at the Institute of Korean Studies, Freie Universität Berlin in Germany. Her research focuses on identifying the pathway from industrial development to political change. She particularly pays attention to business power and industrial policymaking and recently received her doctoral degree in development politics at King’s College London with a thesis titled “Business Structural Power of Big Business in Green Industrial Policy: the making of a green car coalition in South Korea”. Kahee continues to ask about the change of state-business relations in the rise of new industries with a special interest in North and South East Asia.
