Student Representatives of the History Department (FSI Geschichte)
Room A 112
D-14195 Berlin
Student representatives, “Fachschaftsinitiativen” or FSI, are a group of students who came together to shape the politics of the university and to discuss and represent their peers’ interests. The “Fachschaftsinitiative Geschichte” or Student Representatives of the History Department are based at the Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut.
Besides concrete activities, we also have discussions in our cozy Histo-Café in room A 112. We organize student activities for the first days of the semester, such as field trips for students new to the FMI. We also publish the FSI-newsletter and host History themed movie nights, Histo-Kino, at the Institute. Our group also engages itself in various student government boards and university boards to advocate for FMI students. The FMI welcomes new members.
