The presentation will showcase findings from an analysis of 200+ digital projects featuring ancient Greek, Coptic, Aramaic, and other non-Latin scripts. Three key vulnerabilities emerge: technical limitations in script encoding, insufficient sustainable hosting solutions, and academic structures that fail to prioritize digital preservation. Through compelling case studies, the team demonstrates how even prominent projects frequently disappear after funding ends, cutting off access to vital scholarly resources and historical materials.
