Gastvortrag im Rahmen des Forschungskolloquiums der Arabistik
Heba Tebakhi, a doctoral researcher at the Friedrich Schlegel Graduate School of Literary Studies and lecturer in Arabic Studies at the University of Bayreuth, explores the revival of traditional storytelling in Palestine in her lecture.
Her research focuses on Palestinian literature. She examines how political developments and historical events have shaped and transformed the oral narrative tradition — and how it continues to evolve in the present day.
The Research Colloquium led by Prof. Dr. Beatrice Gruendler regularly features international guest speakers in the field of Arabic Studies and related disciplines. Colloquium sessions are being held in a hybrid fashion, combining personal encounter with the advantages of remote access. The shared language is English.
Students of Arabic Studies or related disciplines, visiting scholars, and colleagues are cordially invited to participate, also for single sessions.
