Marco Lauri is a Tenure Track Researcher in Arabic Language and Literature at eCampus Online University, Italy, and a lecturer at the University of Macerata. He will lead the workshop “Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Scholarly Transcription of Arabic Texts.”

The workshop offers an introduction to both the theoretical foundations and practical techniques of Arabic text transcription, and is open to all interested FU students.
