Der Europäische Forschungsrat (European Research Council / ERC) hat beschlossen, das Projekt „Alchemy in the Making: From ancient Babylonia via Graeco-Roman Egypt into the Byzantine, Syriac and Arabic traditions (1500 BCE - 1000 AD)“ von Dr. Matteo Martelli, der seit zwei Semestern als Lehrbeauftragter für Wissenschaftsgeschichte an der Arabistik tätig ist, ab 2017 an der Humboldt-Universität mit einem Consolidator Grant zu fördern.
