Event Description

With the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next President and Vice-President of the United States, European leaders and the public have high hopes in the relaunch of the transatlantic partnership. What does the Biden Presidency promise for relations across the Atlantic? How will it impact the EU’s role in Asia? Which developments can we expect on the Korean peninsula?

Federica Mogherini will give the keynote speech followed by a discussion addressing these themes. Her lecture will open the Human Security and Development Forum Series 2021 at the Korea Europe Center.
