Yiyi Liang studies modern and contemporary art within a global context. With the sponsorship of the Humboldt Foundation, her current project investigates Germany-China cultural interactions in the 1990s, taking three exhibitions for contemporary Chinese art held in Germany as the objects of study. She will present part of her research on Chinese female artists in the diaspora at the 2022 CAA Annual Conference (College Art Association) in the upcoming February in Chicago.
Liang holds a Master in Design Studies from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tongji University.
