Aude Cohen-Skalli is a specialist in Greek historiography with a
particular emphasis on universal histories and in the history of texts
from Antiquity to the Renaissance. She was awarded her doctorate in 2009
(Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa/Paris 4), specialising in Books 6-10 of
the 'Bibliotheke Historike' of Diodorus. She has spent several years
teaching in France as a Lecturer as well as undertaking a postdoctoral
project funded by the Humboldt Foundation (LMU, 2012-2014). Since 2015,
she is a researcher at the CNRS (Centre Paul-Albert Février at
Aix-en-Provence). She has recently received a renewed Alexander von
Humboldt Research Fellowship in the Friedrich Meineke Institute at the
Freie Universität Berlin, hosted by Prof. Klaus Geus.
