The official application and enrollment period for the MA Global East Asia Program (MAGEA) starting in winter semester 2023/24 has ended. The Freie Universität Berlin has now decided to hold a 2nd round of application and to conduct a lottery for the remaining places.

The application period for the lottery will take place from September 1 to 10 via the application portal of Freie Universität Berlin. After evaluation of the applications, acceptance letters will be sent out after September 25.

Please note: Applicants with a foreign Master's degree must have their Master's degree checked by uni-assist before applying in order to participate in the lottery procedure. Applicants with an APS certificate or uni-assist test report can then upload these directly to the application portal in order to participate in the lottery.
