Compensation for Disadvantages

Students who are unable to complete a course in full or in part in the intended form or within the intended time due to disabilities within the meaning of Section 2 (1) SGB IX or due to long-term or permanent health impairments are entitled to compensation for disadvantages.

You can contact the Office for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses Among other things, the Counselling Centre supports students in applying for arrangements to compensate for disadvantages.

You should submit the letter of the Office for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses to the GeschKult Examination Office so that recommendation for compensation for disadvantages can be confirmed by the Examination Board. Only after this confirmation can you make use of the regulations.
