Collections of the Institute for Near Eastern Archaeology

The collections of the Institute of Near Eastern Archaeology were not created systematically, but rather formed throughout the institute's history through donations and loans, as well as objects transported from excavations to Berlin for further analysis. Furthermore, during the long period of active field projects, a considerable stock of original excavation and survey documentation has accumulated, which is of interest both for ongoing research and, in part, for the history of research.
