• PhD at the Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies

The Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies (BGSMCS) offers a structured doctoral program. In contrast to the classic individual doctorate, a program includes elements such as theoretical-methodological training, colloquia for the exchange of content with colleagues and supervisors, or writing and rhetoric workshops. Each year, up to 10 fellows come from a wide range of countries and disciplines, from anthropology, history, and Islamic studies to political science and sociology. A group of over 30 supervisors from the respective fields ensures a professionally sound interdisciplinary exchange.
