The Reaching the People group held a closed workshop with Dexter Fergie (Northwestern University), Tamson Pietsch (University of Technology Sydney), and Katharina Rietzler (University of Sussex). The subject of the discussion was John Dewey’s 1927 The Public and its Problems and explore how it relates to the research of the group and to current concerns in twenty-first century global and international history more generally.
