Gaia Sorge
Gaia Sorge is a PhD candidate at the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia. She obtained her MA in Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa from the University of Naples “L’Orientale,” with a thesis on the morphosyntactic agreement system of Libyan Judeo-Arabic. Her current research focuses on investigating phylogenetic relationships among Semitic languages using the Parametric Comparison Method, primarily through the analysis of syntactic structures. Her research interests include comparative Semitic linguistics and syntactic theory.
