Gendered Legacy and Future of Unification in Korea

The 4th Korean Studies Summer School, which will be held from 14th of August to 22nd of August, 2018 in Seoul, South Korea, will bring together undergraduate students from Korean Studies of Freie University Berlin/Germany, Ruhr-University Bochum/Germany, INALCO Paris/France and Charles University Prague/Czech Republic.

The summer school is a one week academic program supported by the Academy of Korean Studies, the Institute of Unification Education and the Research Institute of Buddhist Cultural Heritage. The objective of the Summer School is to provide students with an expert-lead on site training on Korean history, culture, politics, and North-South Korean relations, conducted by Professor Eun-Jeung Lee and her team from Freie University Berlin.  The program provides a great opportunity to expand knowledge on the diverse fields of Korean Studies.

The 2018 program will include academic workshops, a templestay at Hwagesa and a trainee program at the Institute for Unification Education.
