As you may already know, and can see from this press release (in German), the summer semester 2020 at the Freie Universität Berlin will be digital. Naturally, most of the courses in Iranian Studies will also be held digitally.

Detailed information on which courses in Iranian Studies and how they will be offered digitally can be obtained from the respective lecturers. Please contact them directly. All lecturers and staff members of the Institute of Iranian Studies can be reached via e-mail, some even via their office telephone numbers, which you can find in the staff list. Further information on how remote consultation hours are offered can be found on the Blackboard of the respective course.

The lecturers of the Institute will provide the necessary information on teaching through Blackboard. You should also read your Zedat e-mails regularly, as they will provide further information on the new platforms for digital teaching. Please also make sure that you have access to the various digital platforms and services of the FU via VPN. If you have technical questions, please contact the respective services and not the teaching staff, who often cannot help. Please also see the links in this message.

• The registration period for the summer semester 2020 does not begin until April 8, 2020 on Campus Management.
• The digital lecture period starts on April 20, 2020.
