First semester introduction for Bachelor's students in Near Eastern Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies
Erstsemester
What exactly is Campus Management? Where can I find the Blackboard? Who teaches Near Eastern Archaeology? Which courses should I take? Who are my fellow students? What exactly is a mentor? Do you have these and other questions? Then our introductory event for first-year students is just right for you!
You are very welcome to join us!
We invite all new students of Ancient Studies to come and get to know us on Thursday, 8th October, in lecture hall 2.2058 in the Holzlaube (Fabeckstr. 23-25) starting at 10:00.
After a general introduction to studying at Freie Universität Berlin, you will meet your lecturers. We will show you which courses you should take and what you need for your studies. Afterwards, mentors will guide you around the campus and show you all the important places – from the library to the cafeteria to the student café, where everyone will gather at the end to get to know their student council and chat with other first-semester students.
