Students explore the Near Eastern Archaeology collection
As part of a practice-oriented seminar, students took an in-depth look at the Near Eastern Archaeology collection. They studied the objects in detail, measured them, and documented them scientifically.
A special focus was also placed on the history of the institute's collection: the participants researched its origins, development, and significance in a scientific context.
The results of their work—from object-related analysis to historical classification—were brought together in a virtual exhibition. This digital presentation makes the research results clearly accessible and opens up new perspectives on the collection.
We cordially invite you to discover the virtual exhibition.
We are very greatful for the kind cooperation with Berlin University Alliance - Digital Network for Collections.
