DESCRIPTION: The workshop will bring together 20 trainees together with exp
 erts to share experiences\, methods and techniques for the creation\, manag
 ement and use of linguistic data. The event is organized by Simona Olivieri
 \, Humboldt Research Fellow - Seminar für Semitistik und Arabistik\, Freie 
 Universität Berlin\, with the support of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundat
 ion and Syncro Soft.   The training will focus on standards-compliant repre
 sentations of texts in digital form\, and sessions will be organized in han
 ds-on slots on data modeling and managing.   Ultimate objective is to give 
 an overall view on the benefits of applying digital methods to investigate 
 humanities research questions
