A new special issue of Philological Encounters has been published! We are happy to announce Facing the World: Towards A Global History of Non-Latin Type Design, edited by Thomas S. Mullaney (Stanford University). It explores critical issues in the history of type design beyond the Latin alphabet and in doing so brings together practicing designers and scholars to explore this rich and complex history from varied perspectives. You will find an overview of the issue including all articles here.
