We warmly invite you to an upcoming lecture in the SCRIPTS Forum 26 Summer Lecture Series featuring Margaret E. Roberts (UC San Diego), author of the award-winning book Censored: Distraction and Diversion Inside China's Great Firewall.

Margaret Roberts will present findings from a new experiment investigating how Democrats and Republicans respond to content moderation by large language models (LLMs), and whether these reactions depend on whether the moderated content aligns with their political views.

The lecture addresses timely questions at the intersection of AI, content moderation, political polarization, and democracy. It will be particularly interesting for students interested in AI governance, digital politics, public opinion, and the societal impacts of emerging technologies.
