On December 12, 2025, the Institute of Jewish Studies will host a symposium on current Kabbalah research from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Room 2.2063, titled “Rethinking Kabbalah: Its Origins and Its Beginnings.”

Two of the world’s leading contemporary Kabbalah scholars, Prof. Dr. Tzahi Weiss (The Open University, Israel) and Prof. Dr. Saverio Campanini (Università di Bologna, Italy), will present the latest developments in research on medieval Jewish mysticism as guest speakers.
