Joseph Ben Prestel named co-winner of Urban History Association’s Best Book Award

Joseph Ben Prestel’s book Emotional Cities: Debates on Urban Change in Berlin and Cairo, 1860-1910 (OUP, 2017) was named co-winner of the Urban History Association’s Best Book in Non-North American History Award, 2017-18. The award is given out every two years and will be presented at the 2020 Urban History Association Conference in Detroit.
