Claudia Ulbrich is Professor of Early Modern History and Gender History at Free University of Berlin since 1994. She is the author of Shulamit and Maragrete. Power, Gender and Religion in a Rural Society in Eighteenth-Century Europe, transl. by Thomas Dunlap (2004,Paperback 2005) and co-editor of the series “Selbstzeugnisse der Neuzeit”. She is Member of the Editorial Board “Egodocuments and History” and of "L’Homme. Europäische Zeitschrift für Feministische Geschichtswissenschaft".
