Invitation to the information event on the new Master's program Ancient Worlds – Interdisciplinary Ancient Studies
Dear students,
Are you interested in antiquity in all its cultural, material, and scientific dimensions? Are you already studying a discipline related to classical studies at the BA or MA level? Then we cordially invite you to an information event on the new joint master's program Ancient Worlds – Interdisciplinary Classical Studies, which will start in the winter semester 2026/2027.
Find out firsthand
• how the program is structured,
• what areas of specialization you can expect—from Egyptology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies to Archaeoinformatics, Classical and Prehistoric Archaeology, Near Eastern Archaeology, and History of Knowledge,
• and how you can deepen your individual interests in an (inter)disciplinary setting,
• and why changing your master's program is worthwhile for you!
Of course, there will also be time for your questions and for discussion with representatives from the institutes.
We look forward to your participation and your interest in this new, diverse program!
