Vom 19 bis 21 April findet an der Columbia University in New York die Konferenz "The Cultural Turn in Arabic Literary Production" zur Feier des 50-jährigen Bestehens des Journal of Arabic Literature statt. Dr.Refqa Abu-Remaileh, Principal Investigator des mit einem ERC-Starting-Grant geförderten Projektes PalREAD – Country of Words: Reading and Reception of Palestinian Literature from 1948 to the Present, hält im Rahmen des Panel 3 "Exile, Identity, and Engagement in Arabic Literature" einen Vortrag zu “Twists, Turns and Trajectories of Palestinian Literary Production”.
