Lecture Abstract :

• This workshop was organized to bring together scholars from across Europe who analyze the Korean Wave as a dynamic cultural, social, political, and economic phenomenon.

• By positioning Europe as a key site of reception, mediation, and knowledge production, this study explores the specific ways in which the Korean Wave operates within Europe’s academic, cultural, and public spheres.

• The primary objective is to lay the groundwork for ongoing academic collaboration beyond the event, to produce a KEC Briefing based on the workshop proceedings, and to initiate a jointly authored paper that builds on the discussions among participants.
