Elisabeth is an Integrated Korean Studies student at the Freie Universität Berlin. She enrolled in the Integrated Korean Studies Programme in 2017 and completed her exchange year at the Yonsei University in Seoul in 2017-2018. Her BA thesis, written in 2019, focused on the portrayal of the Metoo movement in South Korean Media. Her main research interest is the media landscape of South Korea. She is currently an MA student and plans to write her MA thesis on the subject of advertising techniques in South Korean Media. In 2020 she became a scholarship holder in the Europe-Korea Programme.
