The Nuristani Etymological Dictionary (NurED) is an online etymological dictionary of the Nuristani languages, a group of Indo-Iranian languages spoken in eastern Afghanistan and northern Pakistan. The dictionary is continually updated.

It contains the results of the project "An Etymological Dictionary of the Nuristani Nominal Lexicon" (2023-2025) funded by the German Research Foundation within the Walter Benjamin Program (project no. 526002798). Additional entries will be continually added in the course of the project "The Linguistic (Pre-)History of the Indo-Iranian Frontier", funded by the German Research Foundation within the Emmy Noether Program (project no. 566371522)
