Virtual Roundtable (July 6): The Prosecution of Nazi Crimes in the Cold War World

The virtual roundtable examines different forms of legal reckoning with Nazi war crimes in the Cold War world, situating the 1946 Minsk trial in the Soviet Union and the 1962–1963 Koblenz trial in West Germany within their domestic and international contexts.
The roundtable, with contributions by Alexander Friedman, Jasmin Söhner, and Franziska Exeler, will be introduced by Iryna Kashtalian and moderated by Victor Shadurski. The event will take place on July 6, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm (CET). It will be held in German and Belarusian (with simultaneous translation) and is organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Osteuropakunde. Please register here.
