On 22 October, a conversation and reading of Jokha Alharthi’s novel Herrinnen des Mondes takes place at Literaturhaus Berlin . Her Booker Prize–winning novel is presented in conversation with the translators Sandra Hetzl and Claudia Ott. Jokha Alharthi speaks in Arabic and German about the genesis of her work, while the German translation is read by Alina Vimbai Strähler. As part of her time in Berlin, on 23 October Jokha Alharthi also meets with the kalimat team to discuss her contribution and her role as a board member.
