The Emmy Noether Research Group "The Future in the Stars: European Astroculture and Extraterrestrial Life in the 20th Century" is pleased to welcome Colleen Anderson (Harvard University) as a visiting scholar. During her one-year stay Anderson will work on a social and cultural history of outer space in East and West Germany from 1949 to 1990. The current title of her PhD project is "Two Kinds of Infinity: Divided Germany and the Cold War Cosmos."
