The Gerda Henkel Foundation supports selected projects of the research unit “Degenerate Art” (July 2005 to December 2009, December 2012 to May 2013). This fruitful cooperation, in particular with two board members Angela Bold and Michael Hanssler, among others, resulted in the film project “Degenerate Art – Iconoclasm of the Nazis. In the Footsteps of Confiscated Works.” The documentary film quintessentially illustrates the research of individual pieces for the inventory of confiscated works. Each episode has been published in the research portal L.I.S.A. of the Gerda Henkel Foundation.
