Since 2007 Lecturer in undergraduate courses at the Freie Universität Berlin. Lecturer in a postgraduate course in Middle and Late Egyptian at the École des Langues et Civilisations de l’Orient Ancien de l’Institut Catholique de Paris (ELCOA).
Postdoctoral scholarships

Fritz Thyssen Stiftung Fellowship awarded for research at the Freie Universität Berlin, Ägyptologisches Seminar, under the supervision of Prof. J. Osing: August 2007–July 2008 (forfeited at the end of September to take up the position at the Freie Universität Berlin).

Archaeological activities

Fall 2010 Direction of the new excavation of the so-called Birth House (Ramesseum) is planned.

1998–present Participation in the CNRS Ramesseum epigraphical and archaeological project (Mission Archéologique Française de Thèbes-Ouest, UMR 171 CNRS-C2RMF), under the direction of Dr. C. Leblanc. Responsibilities included: Inventory and publication of the decorated blocks and of the statuary fragments found in the vicinity of the Ramesseum temple; reconstruction of the south door of the hypostyle hall; excavations in the pathway of the second “pylon”.

July 1994 & July 1993 Participation in the CNRS archaeological project in Lattes (Chantier-École International d’Archéologie de Lattes – Hérault, CNRS, UPR 290 & Unité de Fouilles et de Recherches Archéologiques de Lattes), under the direction of Dr. D. Garcia. Program: archaeological techniques, statistical evaluation of archaeological data, ceramology, paleozoology, paleobotany. Type of excavation: protohistoric mud brick settlements.
