The Bajaur Collection of Buddhist Kharosthi Manuscripts (DFG)
The Project
The project "Cataloguing and Edition of the Bajaur Collection of Kharosthi Manuscripts" started its work in October 2005. Since that time it has been sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
In its initial phase from 2005 till 2007 the project was part of a more comprehensive cooperation between the Department of Archaeology of the University of Peshawar and the Institute of the Languages and Cultures of South Asia at Freie Universität Berlin („Pak-German projects“), represented by Dr. M. Nasim Khan, Assistant Professor, and Prof. Dr. Harry Falk.
